June 2012 - This important cancer charity, founded in 2007 by Cheltenham Social Entrepreneur Tony Bateson to help people newly diagnosed with cancer and in need of support and information, has now been taken over by the Harmony School, run in Gloucestershire by singer/songwriter and vocal coach Jayl De Lara and his wife Niki.

In the last few years, Jayl and Niki have experienced many friends and relatives being diagnosed with this cruel and indiscrimate disease. Indeed, they lost a very close friend to cancer last Christmas and five Harmony School students have survived serious cancers themselves.

Jayl and Niki also lost their beloved studio cat to cancer and now know of many people traumatised by their beloved pets contracting cancer. Therefore, this site is being expanded to include a whole section providing information for pet owners on animal cancers.

Jayl and Niki will be renovating and developing this site through Harmony Design and generating important research data to seriously expand this site and charity. Furthermore, the plan is for the Harmony School to raise funds through various activities such as concerts, product sales and direct donations. The board of trustees will then hold an annual meeting to target the funds to particular cancer charities where they are needed most.
